Mama’s chicken curry (boneless)

Onion x 2                                                                             Salt 1 ½ tsp

Large garlic clove X 1                                                       Tumeric ½ tsp

Green chili X 1                                                                   Shan Achar Ghost mix ½ tsp

Tomatoes x 6                                                                     Red Chilis 1 ¼ red tsp

½ KG boneless chicken

¼ Cup cooking oil

Lemon x 1


Cut onions in long pieces. Mash garlic and chili together.

Heat ¼ cup oil and then add chicken on medium heat. Chicken should be in small pieces. Add salt. Add red chilis. Cook for 3 minutes.

Then add mashed garlic and chopped onions. Add ½ tsp turmeric. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add tomatoes with half cup water.

Cover and cook for 30 minutes on medium/low flame.

Uncover and mash tomatoes .

Uncover and stir until water is almost all gone but before it sticks. Add ½ cup water for gravy.

Garnish with 1 lemon and mix into the chicken.

Serve with roti
